As a Hawaiian minister, I blow
the conch shell and I will take you to my favorite spot,
where it's nice and private with the turtles swimming in the

Rev. Karen Backinoff
I have been
performing weddings on the island of Kauai since 1994, and
have officiated about 400 marriages since that time.
I am a non denominational ordained minister since 1976,
and offer a variety of ceremonies. The most popular
is the Non Denominational Ceremony, that is spiritual but not
religious, a Contemporary Christian Ceremony, a Contemporary
Jewish Ceremony, a Commitment Ceremony, as well as
others, and these can all have Hawaiian options. I
very much enjoy working with couples and have always had
favorable comments from clients. |

Rev. Chris Schwab
is a pastor serving a local Hawaiian church, where
Hawaiian and English are used in the worship service. He can
speak and read the Hawaiian language. Chris is capable of
offering a time-honored format for a wedding, as well as a
more non-traditional style. He is knowledgeable about a
number of beautiful locations to be used for weddings.

The personalized and insightful ceremonies that Rev. Claire
offers are deeply meaningful and heartfelt. The Aloha Spirit
infuses, inspires, and uplifts each one.
The type of
ceremonies that I offer are inter and non-denominational. They can
include and incorporate the couple's own spiritual or
religious beliefs via email, phone, or personal consultation. They
are each a comfortable 12-15 minutes long. Additional vow and
reading samples are also available. I make the effort to "connect"
with the Bride and Groom during the ceremony and have had many
couples say that my ceremonies are "heart-felt". I really love my
work! |
